We have an international team of 85 with our HQ in London, and teams in New York and Milan. We’re backed by some of the most prestigious VC’s in the industry and are now looking for an innovative marketing leader to help us take Depop to the world.
We’ve spent years focusing on community as an integral part of our growth strategy, not following the traditional route of start-up growth. Where has it got us? From zero to over 6 million users in just a few years with little marketing investment in standard channels. Our community love Depop and are our biggest promoters, but to help us scale Depop we need a marketing leader who understands traditional marketing, data infrastructure and the contribution of product and community to overall sustainable growth.
Our current efforts focus on a creative blend of curated editorial, international events, community development and tactical growth initiatives. We’re also adding to our war chest to invest in growth, and need you to develop our marketing strategy to maximise growth opportunities and drive user acquisition, retention and sustainable growth through both digital and offline channels while refining our commercial monetisation strategy to deliver against stretch targets.
