Community Development Manager

With headquarters in London, spaces in LA and New York, we have a team of more than 125 people dedicated to enhancing and developing the Depop experience for our global communities. And we’re just getting started.

As our community continues to grow, we’re looking for a Community Development Manager to develop and ensure the success of our UK community of sellers. This exciting and challenging role will include; ownership of new seller on-boarding, owning and improving processes and reporting on all key seller-focused insights.


Your core focus will cover acquiring, activating and ensuring the long-term success of new sellers to Depop that meet with the criteria of our broad, creative community. You will champion their experience whilst on the app and deliver a best-in-class service across all touch points. Sitting within the Community Development team you will also work closely with our Curation and Marketing teams to deliver seller content, utilising both the Depop app and social outlets - which will drive impact for our selling community.

We want you to make Depop an inspiring destination for sellers that are at the forefront of the game.


  • Discover and bring on board new sellers and designers to the Depop platform
  • Be the key point of contact for new sellers on Depop
  • Own, track and develop the seller on-boarding lifecycle
  • Use qualitative and quantitative learnings to drive improvements and share insights on what makes our developing community thrive


  • You are an excellent communicator
  • You are very organised, structured and process driven
  • You are passionate about the seller experience, enjoy working directly with our community and are happy to go the extra mile
  • You have a mindset of continuous improvement, both on a personal level as well as with regards to operational processes
  • You consistently operate with the customer’s needs at the forefront
  • You are motivated, outgoing and unafraid to present new ideas
