Offline and Retail Experience Manager


Depop is the social mobile marketplace for the next generation. It is a platform catering to how the next generation shops, perceives brands, uses technology and seeks community. Buying and selling on depop is a social affair. We focus on individual sellers allowing them to create their own unique profiles, through which they become brands on their own. Our community of 10M are our most vocal supporters and with our dedicated ambassador programmes also the most important lever behind our sustained growth. We have recently raised Series B of $20M and are positioned for strong global growth, with razor sharp focus on expanding our already solid foundations in the US market. We are very excited about our new physical spaces in Los Angeles (Silver Lake) and soon to be open one in New York (Soho).

We are looking for a strong candidate who is as excited about the future of retail experience as we are! He/she will define depop's strategy in this area, leaving mark not only on depop's operations, but the retail industry as a whole. He/she will deliver on the IRL strategy as well as concrete implementations in a form of pop-ups, events and, most importantly our permanent spaces (currently 2 in LA and NYC). The manager will be working closely with our brand and marketing local and HQ teams to guarantee great representation of our brand and vision, as well as with our product team to bring technology to live in real life.


  • Defines and delivers on the depop’s offline and experiential strategy in the US to bring depop community and brand into real life
  • Responsible for the success of the depop regional pop-ups and permanent spaces, including NYC Space opening and the delivery on brand awareness, community and commercial goals
  • Oversees LA and NYC spaces and their staff, including operational set up and key KPI tracking
  • Closely interacts with brand, influencer and brand teams to source, organise and manage offline activations both as pop-ups and within the spaces (collaborations, events, etc.)
  • Suggests potential improvements to the mobile/online side of the business to bring technology to life in the space.
  • Should currently live in New York.


  • 4+ years working experience
  • Is excited about the future of retail experience and wants to be part of redefinition of industry trends in this area
  • Ideal candidate has experience working for a retail brand and/or consumer tech startup
  • Ability to work as part of a growing entrepreneurial team and take lead of a project in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong commercial sense and structured thinking
  • Experience managing small teams and big activations and projects
  • A natural connector and confident communicator
  • Relevant marketing, branding, curation & visual merchandising experience
  • A love for fashion, design and all things creative
