HR and Recruitment Administrator

Right now, we’re on the hunt for a hyper-organised and friendly HR and Recruitment Administrator, reporting to our Senior People Partner, to run team administration and support our busy People and Talent teams. You might be looking for your first step into the world of HR or Recruitment and have some working experience in administration. Most importantly, you’re not afraid of a challenge, are keen to learn and are a huge fan of Depop. Sound like your thing?


Responsibilities

HR:

  • Manage all HR administration for our global team of 150 including creating contracts, , employee reference requests and any change letters
  • Coordinate our buddy system for all new starters as well as celebrate birthdays and anniversaries via our main communication tool (Slack)
  • Keep global People data up to date and accurate at all times, including starter, mover and leaver information on all People systems
  • Assist Senior People Coordinator on anything payroll or People inbox related on an ad hoc basis

Talent:

  • Coordinate with the Talent team to: schedule phone and in-person interviews for candidates and internal stakeholders, assist in reviewing applicant CVs, support on external communications and be on-hand for various ad-hoc tasks where necessary
  • Ensure all on-site interviews operate smoothly, providing a positive experience for all participants

Office:

  • Support the Office team, helping cover the front desk when required including lunch breaks for our Office Coordinator.
  • Be a friendly culture champion across the business and an active part of life at Depop

Requirements

  • Highly organised, adaptable and flexible approach. You like making lists and like ticking things off them even more
  • You enjoy organising others and playing a support role, including taking care of the little details so your colleagues can focus on other aspects of their roles
  • You have great attention to detail, are conscientious about your work and are committed to getting the job done
  • Independently minded, you can figure out problems without needing your hand held, and can handle working with multiple complex systems and processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills, you are enthusiastic, willing to learn and maintain a professional manner even in challenging circumstances
  • You have a mature approach combined with courtesy and integrity, and maintain discretion at all times even in a young and friendly environment
  • Excellent written skills, administrative skills and computer literacy are a must
  • Ideally you’ve spent some time in administrative roles in busy environments, perhaps in a recruitment or HR team without huge amounts of structure
