Receptionist - 3 Month Contract

We’re looking for a Receptionist in our London team to help cover our Front of House on a 3 month contract, starting as soon as possible. In this role you’ll greet all visitors, manage post and deliveries, coordinate food shopping and keep our kitchen and office areas tidy so our People can be at their best each day in a frictionless environment!

Responsibilities


  • Making every guest and employee that walks through Depop’s front door feel really welcome, notifying staff that visitors have arrived and preparing drinks for visitors.
  • Sign for and manage parcels and post that reach the office, making sure all our deliveries run smoothly and parcels aren’t clogging the entrance.
  • Ordering supplies and ensuring kitchen, bathrooms and pencil cupboards are fully stocked.
  • Getting your hands dirty, moving heavy things around safely and getting really stuck in to keep our office running efficiently
  • Coordinating meeting rooms for the whole office and helping people find rooms for emergency short notice meetings
  • Working with cleaners and contractors to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, organisation and safety in the office to ensure our space is functional for all employees.
  • Understanding the Depop culture and maintaining a great working environment for our people
  • Helping our Office Lead in surprising and delighting our people with relevant and regular surprises



Requirements

  • Pragmatic problem solving skills, you don’t lose your cool under pressure and can quickly think of sensible solutions to a multitude of issues.
  • A dedicated organiser and multi-tasker, you love making lists, ticking things off them even more and can balance multiple competing priorities effortlessly.
  • A very sunny disposition is required and a great sense of humour is a plus.
  • Experience of either a service or office environment preferred.
