Shower rings are sealed. It looks like the top of the package has been cut with a scissors but items are new. Rings are not black. Everybody’s perception of condition is different so please refer to pictures of the item for they are a large part of the description. Please zoom in on all pictures and see for yourself. Colors may vary due to lighting and screen settings. Most items are shipped with reused/recycled material.
