The time has come to part with my vintage 1940s 1950s white off-white velvet wedding dress. I’ve never been quite able to pinpoint the exact age, as it is very skilfully hand made. Worn once by me a few years ago. This dress is an absolute stunner with a full train and the softest fur cuffs which I believe to be faux fur. She has been taken in slightly (about half an inch max each side) in the bust, but could be let back out if needed. There are no holes, rips, or bare patches in the fabric, however there is some feint age marking to the tops of shoulders and the odd age spot. There is some feint dirty marks to under layer of bottom of train, and a mark on the inside front of the neckline. I’m not quite sure how it got there or remember if it was there before I wore it, it shouldn’t be from makeup but I don’t have the skills to attempt to remove myself. Overall this dress is in fantastic condition for its age. Bust 32” Waist 25”
