This is a unique, extremely rare antique Indian swirl marble. German handmade marble made of soft black opaque glass with surface bands of multiple colors - yellow, orange, green and red. It is almost 3/4”. (Opaque - never gloss finish). Made from the 1880s to 1920s. These German Indian Marbles are rare because they were made with lightweight and very brittle black opaque glass that chip and crack easily - finding those intact is difficult unless they’re owned by marble collectors. This one is still beautiful but does have chips, and worn areas, but I do not see any cracks. It will make a great addition to your collection. #marbles #indianswirl
