Spectacular Marc Jacobs coat. Size 2. Double-breasted trenchcoat style; epaulets; covered button; “belts” on each cuff; back vent; 2 front pockets. Made in the US. Fabric is a highly unique “liquid metal” in a washed-out gold with a pastel floral print. In contrast, the lining is a soft, slightly quilted, striped cotton. I do not know exactly what season this piece is from, but I would guesstimate sometime between 2009-2015. I do know that it originally retailed for $2500. In any case, this coat is for the true fashion connoisseur but also very easy for anyone to wear. It is comfortable, a good light-to-mid-weight, and can be worn over anything from light-wash jeans to a cocktail dress. Needless to say, it is also a showstopper that turns heads.
