Lot of Vintage Red & Black Marbled Glass Beads Rare vintage glass beads in a beautiful deep red with black marbling. These were acquired from Santa, a gentleman who supplied beads and jewelry-making materials to craftsmen around St. Mark’s Place and the Lower East Side of New York City. Over 110 piece s. I sourced these from Santa in the mid-1980s. They were believed to have been made in India, and have that distinctive handmade vintage character. Each bead measures approximately 14mm long x 7mm wide.
