I had bought this for my collection, once acquired I had kept in my closet for the most part before moving it to my storage container. I have not worn it nor washed it. So, if you do plan on wearing it yourself, either wash it on a gentle cycle or hand wash with cold water and inside out (and if you want added protection I would suggest a lingerie bag). Then let them air-dry to prevent shrinking and fading. While I did keep it in the closet, I do live in a smoking household with both cats and dogs. So please, keep that in mind.
