GLOWS This is an antique vaseline glass cake plate in the "Tendril Green" pattern by US Glass. • It is a type of depression glass, popular in the 1920s-1940s. • The green hue is caused by the addition of uranium oxide to the glass mixture, which makes it glow under a black light. • The plate features a central floral or sunflower pattern with radiating lines and tab handles on the sides. • It is an oval or round serving dish used for cakes or platters. There are two small flaws/chips, still great to display and add to any collection.
