A lady in a traditional bonnet, holding a small purse. Authenticity & Markings: - The reverse lower base of both figures features the raised German copyright text: "Gesetzlich geschützt / Vervielfältigung vorbehalten" - The interior hollow bases are stamped with the official Marolin "M" shield hallmark crest. - Incised mold inventory numbers 611 and 63 are stamped into the inner walls. - Hand-penciled notations under the base by a previous collector identify the style as "Approx c. 1865".
