I think that they will look best with a bit of sanding so that the paint does not transfer so easily and then they would also have more of a sand blasted metallic effect. These flip flops are best for outside (beach and/or side walk wear) only because so of the silver paint still tends to rub off on (transfer onto) surfaces.
