Handmade ceramic “crackle pot” dish for sale! I’m selling a few pieces I made a couple weeks back now that I’m all settled living in AZ. This ceramic piece was made using Raku clay. The surface of the piece was made by using a homemade crackle glaze created by Jeff Blandford himself! After taking the piece out of the firing kiln, we placed it in a pile of wood chips and it caught fire (because of the how hot the ceramic clay is at this point) The bottom black portion was unglazed and therefore looks burnt because of the fire but the top keeps this nice, crackled look.
