Such a unique statement piece — the flexible chainmail-style mesh can be wrapped, draped and styled in different ways around the neck. Very 70s/80s disco-meets-runway feel and absolutely amazing in person. Originally purchased for around $200 as a designer piece. Exact designer/year is unknown; the construction and mesh scarf design are reminiscent of vintage Whiting & Davis pieces from the era, but there is no confirmed maker attribution. Vintage condition: there are some small areas of missing mesh/pieces and signs of age, as shown in the photos.
