1990 Nintendo Power Issue 18 with featuring Dr. Mario with intact Mega Man III poster. Published in late 1990 by Nintendo of America, Volume 18 of Nintendo Power served as an essential strategy guide during the peak of the 8-bit NES era. The cover highlights Dr. Mario alongside extensive walkthrough features for major titles including Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse and Solar Jetman. During this period, the publication functioned as Nintendo's premier direct-to-consumer marketing vehicle, creating widespread cultural impact through official gameplay maps and signature clay-sculpture cover artwork. Early issues survive in moderate quantities, but complete copies preserving their original inserts remain far scarcer. The presence of the intact Mega Man III fold-out poster makes this specific copy a notable piece of vintage video game ephemera.
