Vintage Oval Double Handle Split Wood Loop Basket with Rope Inlay This is a unique basket. The handles sit the parallel to the oval rather than the traditional over the basket. There is a looped split wood stripe all around the basket. The top of the basket has a rope inlay, popular with Amish made baskets. Felt has been glued to the bottom to preserve the surface it was set on.
