Custom Octopus Hat This is a made to order piece! It will take 2-3 weeks to create! The Octopus Hat will make you the talk of the town! He will be made by hand-dying and needle felting recycled synthetic fiber. He will have hand-painted glass eyes gilded with 22k yellow gold, and faux pearl suckers. ~~~~~ Needle felting is a labor-intensive process in which the artist stabs loose fiber with a lightly barbed needle until it mattes together into solid felt. The form is gradually built up and then colors and other details are added. ~~~~~ My main goal with my hat series is to revive the everyday wear of exquisite hats and elevate their artistic merit.
