Once in a while I will play-test a record but 99% are visually graded only due to time constraints. Grading is subjective and I try to be conservative. I will not sell a record that I think grades less than VG. Grading the jacket is even more subjective and can grade less than VG as low as P for poor. M-Mint – New, Sealed; NM – Near Mint – Zero scratches or Scuffs; VG+ minimal scratches or scuffs; VG more light scratches or scuffs.
