How to tell real vs. fake Louis Vuitton Speedy: 1. MONOGRAM. The LV monogram is never cut off; it always appears whole on the bag, whereas the fleur de lis print may be cut. Any edges should be symmetrical at the seam. The monogram is always hand-printed in a yellow-green color, and the dust bag is always beige with brown "Louis Vuitton" writing. 2. LEATHER. The bag is always made with real leather, which gets darker over time. If the bag is secondhand but the leather looks new or the handles are still very pale, be cautious. Leather is almost unbreakable; if the bag looks ripped or damaged, its fake. 3. EDGING/STITCHING. The stitching should be yellow and the edging on the handles should be dark burgundy (it's usually lipstick red on fakes). 4. SIZE. Counterfeit versions are often not the right size. Speedy bags come in 25, 30, 35 and 40 because that's the length of the bag. If your Speedy 25 isn't 25cm long, it's not real. When in doubt, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
