These book have not been read (even back in 1904 when they were published. The unopened pages we folder during the printing process but the edges were never slit open by the reader.. The side remain physically connected in "loops" or folds. This increases the book's values. It is proof of a virgin text block Please note the significant shelf wear, edge fraying, and some uncut or roughly opened pages consistent with their age. The Binding is loose on one of the volumes.
