The border areas of velvet pile alternate with a sheer burnout ground, giving the design depth allowing the pattern to emerge as the fabric moves and catches light. A true wrap skirt: the inner panel fastens at the waist with a button, then the outer panel crosses over and ties at the side with matching velvet ties. The overlap provides coverage while showing the skirt’s layered construction. Harari was founded by Barbara Keller and Dan Harari in 1979.
