This is a rare, pristine collector’s find: a 1961 Southeastern Shrine Association commemorative lighter that is entirely unused. Produced by Wellington Balboa (Japan), it features a crisp red and gold enamel Shriners emblem. Condition is Key: Unused/Unfired: The wick is clean and white, never having been burned or fueled. Aesthetic: The chrome finish is bright and mirror-like. The enamel on the emblem is 100% intact with no chips. Mechanical: The flint wheel turns freely and the spring tension is excellent. Original Box: Includes the original "The Wellington Line" cardboard box/sleeve, which has protected the lighter for over 60 years. Engraving: The back is professionally engraved: "Southeastern Shrine Association Atlanta 1961."
