Vintage '70s Knit Top 📞 Nancy Drew called! Because I feel like I had to do a lot of detective work on this bad boy. Cute lavender short-sleeved top with a collar, cropped fit, and knit diamond detail. I have a hunch that it's been hand dyed, for two reasons: 1) the tag is a deeper purple, like it was more dye-absorbent, and the lettering is v hard to read; and 2) the shape seems to have become warped, likely from the dyeing process. Feels like it's been stretched horizontally. What I can make out from the shredded tag is ACRYLIC and MADE IN KOREA, which leads me to believe it's from the '70s. Between the color, the knit, and the fit, it's definitely OOAK. There are side loops for a sash or belt. The fabric has quite a bit of stretch to it, but the sleeves are p tight; I'd recommend for up to a M.
