GREY BLUE + PINK ABSTRACT JAPANESE KIMONO MICHIYUKI COAT AUTHENTIC VINTAGE Authentic Japanese vintage kimono coat called michiyuki (similar to haori), with an abstract pattern of blueish grey and subdued pinkish tones. Michiyuki, which translates as ‘travelling’ is a coat worn over the top of a kimono for both protection of the kimono and warmth. This was acquired from a Japanese family estate sale and I believe it has never been worn. It was folded and wrapped in old stained and torn paper which is now discarded. The paper looked like original product wrapping from many years ago but was in too bad of shape to keep. There appears to be some age related discoloration to the inner lining and may be some in other places as well from being placed in storage for many years. All measurements are approximate.
